Aktuell suchen wir für einen unserer Beratungskunden einen erfahrenen Cost Engineer für den Einsatz im Defense Bereich. Du arbeitest hier mit unseren internen Kollegen in einem Workpackage für Helikopter. Wir kennen die Umgebung bereits länger und haben bisher durchweg positives Feedback von unseren Beratern erhalten

Tasks:
·      Perform technical-financial analysis for PbH (Part by the Hour) contracts by :
o  Collecting, formatting and clustering cost data logged on a contract
o  Assessing observed component reliability (MTBUR) and comparing it to forecasted one (MTBF, TBO, SLL)
o  Identifying technical costs drivers and performing a gap analysis with respect to commercial policy and H/C platform
o  Conducting cost to completion analysis based on Customer information (Kardex, flight plan,...), H/C platform improvement plan (PiP, MiP, DMC,...) as well as financial inputs (Component costs, Inflation rates,...)
o  Assessing technical / operational / financial risk & opportunities at contract level 
o  Consolidating contractual financial performance at completion together with Finance and Contract Management analysis inc monthly revenue/gross margin/return results.
o  Synthesizing the conclusion as per standardized reporting scheme
·      Monitor cost adherence with respect to the projected forecast and analyse deviations
·      Follow up on measures decided during reviews.
·      Influence commercial policy and pricing based on analysis outcomes
·      Contribute to operational planning and forecasting.
 
Competencies
  •  Completed Bachelor's degree, preferably in industrial engineering, economics, or related specialized fields (e.g., extensive experience in various calculation methods/guidelines, international tenders, public procurement).
  •  Significant experience in cost analysis preferably in Aeronautic environment or several years of professional experience in support and services reliability analysis, finance, data analysis or controlling.
  •  Good general knowledge of helicopters (dynamics, avionics, airframe) and associated maintenance documents.
  •  Capacity to give sense to figures, to synthesize and to prioritize, rigorous, methodical, agile
  •  Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment, positive mindset, analytical approach, and customer orientation.
  •  Expert in Excel user (TCD, filtering, data comparison)
  •  Knowledge of SAP EC2 transaction
  •  Fluent in German, Business Fluent in English, French language as an asset.
  •  Willingness to travel occasionally is required.
 
Deliverables
  • Repair WIP Analysis: Identification of items parts of the repair flow (work in progress) and valorisation of the associated costs using available quotations, shop reports, invoicing or any relevant cost elements evidence.
  • Recurring / On demand cost monitoring / analysis:
  • Monitoring of actual costs compared to the projected C@C, periodic revaluation of the repair WIP, identification of the main costs and deviations vs. projection made during the cost driver.
  • Cost drivers analysis:
  • All xBH contracts are eligible. Complex and detailed analysis allowing:
o  the identification of the main cost drivers (top20)
o  the analysis of costs over the last 2 years including reasons for removals and calculation of removal rates
o  the comparison with the rest of the fleet and Polco, 
o  the identification of points of attention
o  the estimation of the repair WIP
o  the projection of future costs and calculation of C@C over the contract time frame and/or OP period considering schedule/unschedule removals
  • All these deliverables deserves a preliminary data crunching and data formatting step using SAP extract as a reference (WBS cost extracts)
 
Service Details :
  • Service provided base on existing WorkUnit referential 
  • Service start forecasted for January 2026 for a period of 6months (first 3 months as a probation period)
  • Proposed Time management :
o  Work rhythm aligned with ESRBT team
o  No home office during the first two months to secure the ramp-up (on a case by case basis exception may be granted by the AHD TechRef)
o  After the ramp-up period, home office possible to be organized with AHD TechRef
  • Performance evaluated based on:
o  First time right (requested deliverable qty of update)
o  On Time Delivery (request deliverable released on time)
o  Customer satisfaction (evaluated using a qualitative scale
